Submission Terms, Rights & Editorial Policy
By submitting work to Expat Dispatch, you confirm that the submission is your original work and that you hold the rights to share it.
You retain full ownership of your work.
By submitting, you grant Expat Dispatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to edit, publish, reproduce, distribute, and promote your submission, in whole or in part, across any and all Expat Dispatch platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, written publication, audio adaptation, podcast episodes, newsletters, websites, social media, promotional materials, and future Expat Dispatch projects, with appropriate attribution.
Editorial Control
Expat Dispatch reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, length, tone, and editorial alignment. We will not materially alter the meaning of a submission without contributor consultation. Submission does not guarantee publication.
Representation & Responsibility
By submitting, you confirm that:

• The work does not infringe on the rights of any third party

• The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge

• Any individuals referenced have been anonymized or have provided consent where appropriate

Compensation
At this time, Expat Dispatch is unable to offer payment for submissions. Contributors whose work is published will receive clear attribution. Paid opportunities may be introduced in the future.
Moral Rights
Nothing in these terms waives the contributor’s moral rights, including the right to be identified as the author of the work.
By submitting a contribution, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.
